Fashion Show 2016 

A Smashing Success!

With 122 attendees, 20 auction/raffle baskets, 18 models and 3 fashion vendors; the flower-filled tent at the Oregon Golf Club was a sight to behold at Friday’s 16th Annual ‘Garden Party’ Fashion Show. 

Best of all, the event raised $13,650 in total proceeds -- $9,300 of which was raised in the paddle raise for Saint Child and the remaining amount to go into our philanthropy fund.  

The raffle baskets and silent auction were enormously popular with bidding wars occurring for the Maroon 5 Concert package, the Spa Day for Two and the Yellow Beach Cruiser Bike.

The Fashion Show provided lots of entertainment as the Fleet Feet Sports models surprised the crowd and stole the show with their yoga stunts and ‘sassy’ strutting down the runway.  Francesca’s and Chico’s also had a fine showing of their latest collections -- big floppy felt hats and enormous wool plaid scarves appear to be ‘the thing’ to be trending this fall.

Thank you so very much to all who attended the event and helped to support Saint Child and our many other charities.

LOWC Potluck Club (name may change)

We would like to start a new group within the club.  We are looking for (4) people to host at their house.  The host would provide the location, plates, napkins, silverware, themed dish, water, tea, etc.  All members and guests that are interested in coming would sign up to bring a dish to share from the theme that is chosen and something to drink if they would like.  Not everyone has to host.  If you are interested in joining this club or have questions, please contact Minita.
