Join us for a Happy Hour!

Ladies, please join us for the first happy hour of the year on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 4:30 pm at Tavern on Kruse (off Carman and Kruse way) in Lake Oswego. We are usually there until 6:30 pm (or longer) so feel free to join us even if you can't be there right at 4:30 pm. Hope to see you there!

Good morning to all my fellow LOWC friends!  

A couple of reminders:  Please pay your dues for the 2016/2017 year at your earliest convenience!

Meet and greet:  I know you've just been on pins and needles wondering where the upcoming 'Meet and Greet' will be held! It's this Sunday, the 18th of September at Lisa Rainer's house! Please invite a friend or neighbor to join you for our dessert and coffee/tea reception this afternoon! We'll be hosting this event from 2 pm to 4 pm. A quick reminder, parking is limited so if you can car pool with someone, please do!

What is new this year?

The Venue

For the first time in 15 years, there will be a change in venue from the Oswego Lake Country Club to the lovely Pavilion at the Oregon Golf Club. An opening reception will take place in the picturesque Rose Garden before the luncheon and fashion show commence.

The Fashion

We have secured three vendors who will be presenting their designs at the show.  Chico’s and Francesca’s will feature their latest fall collections for women, and Fleet Feet Sports is presenting their sportswear for men and women. Members and friends of the LOWC will be modeling this year’s designs.

The Luncheon & Paddle Raise

We will begin the afternoon with your choice of a signature cocktail, glass of wine or champagne to enjoy as you mingle and peruse the various raffle baskets. Lunch will be served soon after, followed by the fashion show to be enjoyed over dessert and coffee. There will be a paddle raise for Saint Child, our partnered charity for this year's event.  The day will conclude with announcements of our raffle basket winners.

LO Wine Walk

Come join LOWC for an informal gathering to participate in this year's LO Wine Walk. The event will be held on Saturday, October 1st from 3 pm to 6 pm.  If you are interested, please sign up and pay $40 entrance fee at Wine Walk. This event sells out each year and is tons of fun. If you are interested, please meet Karen Schneider at the check in location, Chamber of Commerce on 459 Third Street at 2:30 pm on October 1st. Spouses, friends and anyone 21+ years are welcome to join us! Don't forget to bring your picture ID because they will check.
