I hope everyone has had a wonderful, fun-filled summer. As we begin to think about cooler weather, sweaters and our first Pumpkin Spice Latte...here are a couple of reminders:

It's that time of year - time to renew your annual membership to LOWC. Committees are being formed, so please get your renewal in so we can place you on a committee.

And while you are renewing, if you haven't already - don't forget to register for the Fabulous Fall Fashion Show. It promises to be spectacular!

Children's Center Volunteer Opportunities

Children’s Center’s Gala is fast approching on September 18th and Children's Center is seeking 150 volunteers to assist on the evening of the event. 

Children's Center is expecting a large increase in guests and volunteer support will play a vital role on the success of their largest fundraising event. I hope LOWC members who are not attending the event as guests will consider helping Children's Center by volunteering your time.

To ensure everyone is properly trained and comfortable in their role(s), volunteer leads will be available throughout the event. Leads will assist with training, answering questions and providing support.

Happy Hour  & LO Wine Walk

Happy Hour

Ladies, we have our next happy hour scheduled for Monday, September 15th at 5 pm at Stickmen's Brewery and Skewery in Downtown Lake Oswego. We will sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. 

Please register on the LOWC website, if you are able to attend so that we can reserve a table. I hope to send out an email blast the day before the event as a reminder.  See you there!

LO Wine Walk

If you are interested in attending, please buy your tickets directly from the Chamber of Commerce. On the day of the event, meet Karen Schneider and others at the outdoor fireplace at Lakewood Theatre between 3-3:15 pm and enjoy the Wine Walk with friends! Spouses welcome!

Summer Concert Fun

Music is the common language amongst us all. It frees our spirit and opens our heart. The closing of this summer’s months were spent by members enjoying a Lake Oswego Sounds Of Summer Concert at Westlake Park on Wednesday, August 27^th. We packed our picnic baskets and met outdoors so our hearts, souls and feet could dance to Hit Machine Band!!
