Audrey wants to meet all of you so now is the time to purchase your luncheon tickets and your raffle tickets on our LOWC website! It is best to purchase everything ahead of time so on the day of the event, we can just check you in, hand you a lovely Tiffany Blue envelope with your tickets inside, and off you go with your Tiffany place card. Place the card where you would like to sit at the table.

Over 15 baskets valued from $250.00 - $1,000.00. Come to my home on August 21st at 9:30 am for the general meeting followed by a SWAG stuffing party! 



The best part... you get to see the baskets ahead of time and we will be selling the raffle tickets (cash or check only). Don’t forget about our buy 40 save 40 in honor of our 40th year....only $120 for 40 raffle tickets. The baskets are worth the expenditure, not to mention that you are helping support our charities. You can pick up your purchased raffle tickets at the registration table the day of the event! So easy!!!

Exclusive Tiffany Colored Golf Bag

But wait... more exciting news! Our Fashion Committee has secured the only Tiffany colored golf bag that is in existence in the US! That’s right! No one can buy this bag in the states and it will never be sold in the states. So exclusive, so cool. This will be an auction item. Bring your check book ladies! I would carry this golf bag around and I don’t even play golf, at least not well.

Happy Hour on August 25th at Jefe

Ladies, we have our first happy hour scheduled for Monday, August 25th at 5 pm at Jefe in Lake Oswego.

Interested in Book Club?

The next book club meeting will be held on Monday, September 29th at 7:00 PM at Sharon Callen's residence (5035 Foothills Road, Unit E, Lake Oswego. Phone number is 503-505-0935). We will be discussing Like Mind by James Wood. This is going to be an extra special meeting because the author is a personal friend of one of our members, Amanda Quinn, and is going to be joining us!  Rumor has it that he may have a sneak peak at the sequel. Please try your best to read the book before-hand so we can have a good discussion.

Second Friendraiser Update

It was a beautiful morning outdoors, great friends and delicious food.  What could make it better?  New women joining the LOWC!  

New membership is off and running!  A big thank you to Toniya Villalobos for opening up her home, to host our 2nd and final Friendraiser on Sunday, August 10th.  An additional thank you to all the members that showed up with delicious brunch dishes, and shared their insight on our organization.

Children's Center Volunteer Opportunities

Children’s Center’s Gala is fast approching on September 18th and Children's Center is seeking 150 volunteers to assist on the evening of the event. 

Children's Center is expecting a large increase in guests and volunteer support will play a vital role on the success of their largest fundraising event. I hope LOWC members who are not attending the event as guests will consider helping Children's Center by volunteering your time.

To ensure everyone is properly trained and comfortable in their role(s), volunteer leads will be available throughout the event. Leads will assist with training, answering questions and providing support.
