Lake Run is Just Two Months Away
The LO Police Department and City Parks & Rec have given two thumbs-up after a review of the course routes and traffic control plan earlier this week. City officials commended the LOWC team for having everything so well organized that they can move ahead with full confidence. Kudos to Hitomi, Stephanie, Fran and Lisa for making ithappen!!
We need all LOWC members to help get runners interested and registered for this year's Lake Run. If you joined LOWC to be able to make a contribution to deserving charities, this is where the rubber meets the road. This is our major fundraiser and we want it to be a total success. Please take every opportunity to spread the word to friends, neighbors, community members. Postcards and posters are available through Debbie Kutnyak and Karen Norgaard. Please help us get them out to local residents and businesses now.
Please don't forget to sign up to volunteer on race day. Click Volunteer Spot to register. It is now open listing all the volunteer positions that are available and need to be filled. Enlist a few friends and family members to volunteer with you.
