William Temple House & Portland Opera CARE - Volunteer Event

Saturday March 4th,  from 12:15 pm – 3:30 pm 

William Temple House & Portland Opera CARE event is a fundraiser hosted in the historic Mackenzie House, benefiting the mission and services of William Temple House. Performers from the Portland Opera will give a private performance, while guests and new friends enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres.

Volunteer shift: 12:15pm – 3:30pm

• Volunteers for this event are being asked to wear black bottoms (either skirt or pants) and white blouse or shirt
• Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes as most assignments require standing

We need a total of 10 volunteers to help with this event, and volunteer duties will include assisting with registration, food and beverages, and setup/cleanup.  If there are any questions, please contact Lisa.

Abby's Closet - Volunteer Event

Saturday & Sunday, March 18th & 19th

If anyone has any purses, shoes, dresses, jewelry, etc. to donate to Abby's Closet, contact Minita.  The plan is to drop off the items before the end of February.

Abby's Closet is currently recruiting volunteers for the 2017 Abby's Closet Prom Gown Giveaway presented by Brides for a Cause. This year's event will be held on March 18-19 at the Oregon Convention Center.  Opportunities to volunteer will run March 16-19. Click here to learn more about the various shifts available.
