Ladies, we recently sent out an email letting people know about the Happy Hour on the 17th of June and incorrectly said that it was at Mahers. The June 17th Happy Hour is at Manzana! Join us anytime from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm. This is a perfect time to bring a friend or prospective member or connect with our sustaining members! Spread the word! We hope to see you all there to share a refreshing beverage together!

4th of July Parade
For several years now, the Lake Oswego Women's Club has walked in the 4th of July Parade. This year we'll be doing it again, and all of our members are welcome to join us! This is another great way to get to know other LOWC members and to have some fun! Parade staging starts at 9am. We'll have a location (designated by the city) somewhere on Lake Garden Ct. Please wear this year's green Lake Run t-shirt with WHITE (or light colored) bottoms (We'll have a few extra Lake Run shirts there). Also, please bring as much individually wrapped candy as you'd like to hand out (I'd recommend 3+ lbs). We'll also have bottles of bubbles to give away. The parade starts at 10 am sharp, so don't be late! Carpooling and/or getting dropped off is a great way to get to the parade staging area.
Annie Arkebauer has agreed to drive her cute little "Mini Cooper" in the parade, so we'll somehow attach our decorated LOWC banner to the front of the car and perhaps can decorate her car all in "Red". We will have 8-10 LOWC bags to help carry the candy and we'll be able to use the trunk of Annie's car to carry extra supplies/candy/bubbles.
If you have some red/white/blue decorations or hair ties etc. that would be fun for the group to wear/share, please bring them! This is a day to get red/white and blue crazy!
Mark your calendar for July 4th! Let's show-off our LOWC and patriotic pride!
Concerts in the Park
Planning to go to any concerts in the park at Foothills Park on Wednesdays in July? Wouldn't you love a front row parking space? Contact Annie Arkebauer before you go and she may be able to register you as a guest and allow you to park at the condos just across the street!

Fashion Show Summer Craft Party
Come one, come all!
Fashion show planning is in full swing! With a 'Garden Party' theme, we hope to fill the tent at the Oregon Golf Club with hundreds of paper flowers. The flowers are made from Italian crepe paper and quite easy to assemble, but will be time consuming for our small committee of eight to attempt all on our own -- we’re hoping to make over 300 of them! We would love to have some help from other club members who might be interested in learning how to make these simple, yet elegant flowers. Stay tuned for additional details on dates and location.
