Fall is here, and you know what that means:  Our Fabulous Fashion Show AND the last chance for you to renew your membership and still be included in our wonderful directory.  Sign up now or at the very latest at the Fashion Show.  Remember that we are including a 'Yellow Pages' section listing all member's business information - great free advertising and a great resource for our membership to find a service or product that they are looking for.

Fashion Show

Do you have your tickets yet for our 13th Annual LOWC Fashion Show/Luncheon and Raffle at the beautiful Oswego Lake Country Club on Thursday, September 26th from 11:00am-2:00pm?  This year’s event is shaping up to be one of the best ever so you won’t want to miss it. Get your ticket on-line at www.lowomensclub.org before they sell out! Tickets will be $35 when purchased in advance and $40 at the door and be sure to invite a friend.

We have 17 amazing raffle baskets this year and tickets will be $5.00 for 1 or $20.00 for 5. We will also have a live auction for a chance to win a week at an Oregon beach house valued at $1500 or a weekend in Black Butte valued at $600 and this year we will have the ability to take a credit card for all of your purchases if you want verses a check!  And wait, there is more, we are now selling 100 tickets for $50.00 each to win a set of one of a kind diamond earrings donated by LaRog Brothers valued at $4500 so if you want to secure your ticket early please call Rhonda at 503-908-0024 before they sell out!  

Clackamas Women's Services will be our featured charity at the annual fashion show & luncheon.  Their women's shelter is always in need of things we just take for granted. Please consider bringing a few items to the fashion show from the list below:

• toiletries (think toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, hairbrush, lip balm, etc.)
• paper & cleaning products (toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex, dish soap, laundry detergent, dish soap)

So many of us have a stash of these things in our cupboards. Remember to grab a few on your way out the door to the luncheon.  You can feel good about it!

The September LOWC general meeting will be short on business, and long on fun. Hopefully everyone has registered and reserved their spots for the Fashion Show/Luncheon. Make sure you arrive early to mingle with friends, meet the new members, buy some raffle tickets and check out the awesome gift baskets.

Mark your calendars for the October LOWC general meeting to be held Thursday evening, October 17, 7:00pm at The Children’s Center in Oregon City. Shauna Lugar will be giving tours at 6:15pm before the meeting and also immediately after we adjourn. LOWC looks forward to introducing our new provisional class to Children’s Center.
