Strike a Pose! Attend the Fashion Show

The 12th Annual LOWC Fashion Show Raffle baskets are wonderful because so many of our local businesses and members have generously donated! We have Nike, local restaurants, Lake Wood Center, Silpada jewelry to name a few! Thank you to those that have donated! 
A few themed Raffle baskets are: 

• Fore and More - Golf basket 
• Living it up – Food and fun in LO
• Most of our baskets will retail $250 and more. 

Raffle tickets will be sold before the Fashion Show - $5.00 for 1 ticket and 5 tickets for $20.00. We will also be offering a Golden leaf Cupcake Raffle $20.00 each - in a limited number. Remember, all raffle tickets can be purchased by cash or check only. 

Some of our guest VIPs include:
The Children’s Center, The Lake Oswego Police Department, Lake Oswego Park and Recreation Department, and The Lake Oswego Review. 

Have you purchased your ticket yet? All tickets sold at the door will be $40.00.

Pay Your Dues at the Fashion Show

For the convenience of those who have yet to pay their annual dues, I will have a table in the vestibule of Oswego Lake Country Club to take your checks. Afterwards I will email you a paid invoice that you can use as a 2012 tax write off.


Also, if you have a change of home address or email address, this will be a great time to let Johanna McCormick, Directory Chair, or myself know.

Deadlines, Pictures, and Distribution

The 2012-13 hard-copy Directory will be distributed at the October 18 General Meeting. Each Active (provisional, active, and sustainer) member will initially receive one copy. Additional copies may be available after initial distribution attempts have been made.

To achieve this publication/distribution date, Board Members are reminded that the deadline for all the elements going into the hardcover Directory is September 30th, 6pm. All new member forms must be turned in, along with the President's letter and her final committee assignments. This deadline also affects the following Committee Chairs for their individual "calendar of events' to be published in the front pages: Social Committee, Philanthropy and Meetings, as well as any of the club's special interest groups, such as Book Club. If you have questions, please contact the Directory Chair, Johanna McCormick at directory@lowomensclub.org.

 The Chair also encourages anyone without a picture in the online Directory to look through summer vacation photos or recent family portraits for a low-resolution, traditional-portrait composition (above-shoulders). Send your photo to the Chair as a .jpg attachment. Another option is to stop by the "photo booth" being set up at the beginning of today's (9/20) Fashion Show.

Our Web Site has a New Look!

Visit our newly redesigned website at www.lowomensclub.org. The Online Communications Chair still has some work to do (a few pages are still "under construction"), but much progress has been made. If you'd like to log-in to check out the "members only" area, just click the link that says, "Forgot Password."  You will be prompted to supply your email address and you'll be required to type in a "captcha" code. Your log-in information will be sent to your email address. After you log-in, be sure to visit our "Member Forum" to leave a comment or suggestion!

An email will be sent to all members by the end of the week with detailed instructions about how to log-in. But if you feel adventurous, try the "Forgot Password" process mentioned above.
